Our charity, theatre works!, is pleased to announce an extraordinary opportunity for your school to experience the magic of ‘Wicked’, the sensational West End musical, at no cost or a significantly reduced price. Thanks to the generous support of the London producers of ‘Wicked’, as part of its acclaimed Wicked Active Learning education programme, we have hundreds of FREE tickets available for the London production, with additional tickets available at a discounted rate of £15 each. These will provide young people, facing economic and social barriers, with the opportunity to experience one of London’s most iconic musicals, enhancing their appreciation for the arts in general and live theatre in particular.
 
We provide grants to support this and other theatre performances across the country. Grants can be used to cover ticket prices, transport and related educational experiences.
 
With a package worth over £10,000, this provides a golden opportunity for students aged 7-16 to dive into the enchanting world of ‘Wicked’, a story of friendship, courage, and the power of perspective. We believe in making the arts accessible to all, especially to those who might not have the opportunity to experience live theatre. Therefore, this offer is specifically designed for schools with a minimum of 30% Free School Meals (Pupil Premium) students, ensuring that children from all backgrounds, including those with special needs, can enjoy this unforgettable theatrical experience.
 
But that's not all - your students will also have the chance to engage directly with the stars of the show. We invite you to sign up for Q&A sessions with the cast, available on Wednesdays after the 2:30 PM performance. These sessions provide a unique behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional theatre and allow your students to interact with the actors in a meaningful way.
 
Schools can apply for tickets to attend Tuesday to Thursday performances during term time, excluding school holidays.
